AWESOME!! Even my DH was impressed which is not always an easy thing to do! And what's freaky is I dreamed last night that I was given a horse and a place to keep it. Someone was showing me how to lean in the direction I wanted it to go! Hmmm . . . sounds like I was trying to ride a motorcycle instead??
I was so impressed too as I used to barrel race, I just could not get
over how smooth she rode with no saddle and the work to train that horse
simply amazing..............
WOW SUE!!!!! thank you soooooooo much for sharing that!
there is something so neat about seeing a strong loving bond between a person and their beloved pet BUT to see that kind of work and skill was truly awsome.
I was not only impressed by my heart was touched as well.
dave just got to watch and was truly touched as well.
Someone sent me this link awhile ago, and I don't know if it still works, but it was the most amazing thing I ever saw. I watched it many times, and my ten-year-old granddaughter was transfixed, too.
This video is of Andreas Helgstrand and his 9 year-old mare, Matinee, at the World Equestrian Games. It is the Musical Freestyle Dressage competition, and they pretty much wiped the floor with everyone. Turn up the sound and watch this mare dance...she knows where the beat is. http://beboframe.com/FlashFrame.jsp?Siz ... 3309347442
WOW, Leslie, that was truly INCREDIBLE!!! What a beautiful horse - she was obviously loving what she was doing - watch her ears and tail! I could take some dancing lessons from Matinee!!!
Strangely enough it reminded me of the film "Billy Elliot." I think they might have used a little of the music from the movie, or else it was just similar. But yeah, even though I'm on a slow dialup it was worth it to watch Matinee!
