I've got one woman interested in Montana who sounds like a really good match. She has 8 and 16 yr old kids, a hobby farm, and had to put her dog down after a horse kicked it. So they really want an older dog that's willing to play with the kids, and not be a chewing machine like a puppy would be. The one obstacle is that she lives a couple hrs away so it's quite a trip for her so I offered to meet her part way as she's supposed to head in this direction to pick up a trailer in the near future. So I hope she and I can work something out soon. OH and she used to show dogs and is well versed on false pregnancies! **fingers crossed**

Gosh I hope it works out -- do you think Montana will do ok without Canada, havent they always been together I hope this new home works for her 
Montana doesn't seem to mind leaving Canada. It's Canada that misses HER. I'm hoping that with the pups she'll be busy enough not to mind so terribly if her pal goes away.
When Montana was gone for a few days once, Canada was upset and worried. Montana didn't seem to care one way or another. LOL Canada seem to be almost motherly toward Montana even though Montana is the older of the 2.
This lady sounds like a kindred spirit... we talked a long time and had a lot in common. She promised to keep in touch and send updates and pictures if she does get her so tht was encouraging.

Oh Mary, those pups look SO good. Hardly a squeek out of them they're fat and content and so far doing just what I want to see!
Canada is quite pleased with herself right now. and is eating like there's no end to it and is actually gaining weight right now which is good since I imagine the pups will suck it off her later.
