WELL this year has proven to be very different with summer temps almost stil continuing here in Western NY.
So far we've only had about 10 days of cooler temps with today going back up to 70's again. WE haven't had ONE hard frost yet

I am NOT complaining either but just this week the leaves are starting to turn. I LOVE FALL COLORS :D

here's a pic of small part of the side of my yard........feel free to post your pics too :D

Beautiful, Annmarie!! The leaves are changing here in Sacrament but I don't have any pics. We've had some rain but it hasn'y gotten really cold yet and next week it is gioing back in the 80's! Not so at the lake. We've already been using the wood stove and we've lost one irrigation timer due to freeze. The outlook for this year is for La Nina which is wet and warm! We really need the rain.

Mmmmmm...nice! I don't have any pics yet either! It should be peak this weekend up north, but with no rain, no cold, the colors are pretty dull...

I'll have to take some photos this weekend :)

it's so weird here - the leaves are changing, but i'm outside in shorts. It's in the upper 70s today and we just put our AC back on because it was ridiculously hot in our house!!

We don't have that many trees here that change. Miss that... sigh. I have a maple in the front yard that just started to change, but not much color other than that. Post pictures please - I need my fall leaves fix!

When we were going through a major drought, the leaves dropped off the trees here, too. We had color that year. Many shades of brown. I didn't realise there were that many different shades of brown! That was a couple of years ago. We're still short on rainfall, but not as short as we have been.

We usually have a beautiful fall in the Ohio Valley .... but lack of rain has rendered it blah!
Did have a big storm system roll through last night ... television weather guys (our included!)
were doing the happy dance - they got to use all their fancy, expensive equipment that has been gathering dust all summer  !

Well, I guess 'peak' is past here in NH...here are 2 of the back yard, and front looking down the driveway...too many pine trees!

And if I can get it, there's an awesome pic on my way home from work (in Ct.)...will try on Monday...
