First cold snap of the year coming tomorrow--time to change to the fall avatar!!

it's 79 humid ICKY degrees here right now with a heat index of 83. I'd LOVE to have some fall cold snapping here again!

This is just yucky.

It's getting chilly here too. Highs have been in the mid 70s but it's very chilly in the morning and evening!

When I arrive at work in the morning it's 38 degrees F brr then goes to 70's and when i leave it is in 60's.

The leaves are beginning to change color ........just ever so slightly. Reds come first, i love it!!Pretty soon max and peanut will chase the leaves blwing in the wind at night hahahhaa

This week has been hot but next week looks much better. I'll be happy when it gets in the 60's and 70's, I just wish it would stay there longer

We're off to the Mountains today, for the last day of summer....But to the Rocky Mountain National Park dogs are "Unnatural Predators" (that's on their website) so we can't take any :roll:
Our friends are taking us to a spot in the park so we can hang out at an alluvial fan. (I had to google it) here's a couple shots from webshots.com of one, AT the park where we're going:

Those pictures are gorgeous! I still miss living among all those gorgeous mountains. Colorado is the most gorgeous state that I have ever lived in but I missed the seasons, so there ya go, you're never happy :lol:
