Just looking for some suggestions. We are doing agility training in an indoor riding ring connected to a barn and I noticed last evening when we came home Shelbe had a "barn" odor on his fur. Any ideas what I could wipe him with or how to get the odor off. He didn't roll or anything, it's just the odor from the barn. It's not practical or possible for weekly baths so that is not an option. Maybe something I could wipe over him?

Use Baby wipes - I use unscented due to allergies

Also you can take a wet microfiber cloth you have rinsed in a bucket of warm water with a little of his conditioner and wipe him down with that

They also make "perfume" sprays for dogs but if the barn odor lingers they may not help - may need to wipe him down first. I use "crazy dog baby powder" scent spray - only one I've found that doesnt set off my allergies

A lot of peeps here use Best Shot and they have a spray conditioner refresher

I found a spray this weekend made by a company called "Good Dogma" - it not only does away with the doggie smell, but supposedly helps repel insects (kind of hard to tell for sure this time of year!). I has a great gingery scent to it, and Tyke LOVES it! Also helps make her coat softer.

What's it called??
Ok, I went downstairs to get the bottle...it's called "Waterless Bath" made by a company called Minute Groom. It has a picture of a dog with soap suds all over it and a cartoon balloon that says "There has to be a better way". Spray, rub, wipe. It leaves Cinnamon's coat soft with a slight aloe smell to it. It has aloe in it along with jojoba oil plus "natural essential oils."

Yowza is right - was that from the website? I got mine at the Mast General Store in Asheville - I think it was about $9.00. Tyke had just finished a hike with me in the RAIN at the Biltmore Estate, and I had to do SOMETHING! The whole car smelled like a wet doodle - it looks like a bottle will last a good while, b/c it doesn't take much to get rid of the doggie smell. I do love the company name though - Good Dogma!

That says something about the markup on the website, doesn't it?? I went online to the Mast Store's website, but didn't see it on there. However, they do mention that if you don't see something on the site, you can call them and order. Maybe I'll just stock up on it when I go back to Asheville!
