Do your friends have doodle envy?

My daughter & friend from school both pick on LizzieDood constantly - they say she's GOOFY!??! They both have pointer-mixes...Ok, Liz does act blonde every once in a while (runs into walls, flops over for no reason & hops like a rabbit); however, I say they're just jealous...even envious. Besides....Lizzie is blonde.

A fine example of this doodle animus occured just this afternoon. As my friend & I were driving past the park, I saw a family & it's doodle out playing. I have never seen another doodle in our town. Just as any other self-respecting doodleholic would doodledo, I screamed for my friend to stop (she almost wrecked the car) so that I could go visit the doodleowners. Would you believe she refused to turn around? So what if we had an appointment? She said I'd frighten them....BAH frighten-smighten, that's what I say.

I'm about to go to Cafe Press & make a bumper sticker that says "Love Me, Love My Doodle!"

OMG - Im a doodle stalker!! that's too funy, but I suppose I am. My friend actually did stop when I screamed (you know, the whole slam on the brakes because some screams & you think you're about to hit someting?) The problem was that when she realized I was stalking doodles, she continued on. SOME PEOPLE!! I really do thing it's doodle envy.

Stalking doodles...stalking doodles....

12. Stalking others in public places that have a dog that even slightly resembles a doodle.
ok I admit it, I MIGHT be a doodle stalker. But what happens when you like your addiction? I dont need no stinking 12 steps!

Gene - Lizzies companion is the monstrous doberwoman - Dogge. If we didn't have a 100lb doberwoman, we'd be a two doodle family!

Everyone around here are huge fans of Dexter. The duckhunters all want to steal him and be the first to hunt over a doodle, just to have some bragging rights at the breakfast table and to poo-poo (or doodledoo) the tried and true lab hunters. A young co-worker of mine got into a huge fight with her dad and is considering moving out cause he won't let her get a doodle. Another co-worker thinks he just looks like a big stuffed doggie and is too cute to be real. We get total strangers asking us what kind of dog were we walking. My downstairs neighbor, however, is not a fan of midnight doodlebursts, but I think that may be a bit of envy.
She says it sounds like a herd of buffalo on a rampage. I tell her that's pretty accurate, but it's only one, not a herd.

Lizzie's got the doodle pose down pat. Dexter does the pose, and also likes to throw his head back and smile his doodle smile while you're talking to him. He kinda flails his head back and forth smiling. It's hilarious. It never ceases to amaze me how they are all so far apart in distance or family lineage, but they all act alike, and yet are such individuals.

It sounds to me that you & Dexter are victims of doodle envy from your downstairs neighbor! ITS FREAKIN' PREVASIVE! I can't even imagine why anyone would even question the midnight doodle 500...they should just sit back & enjoy. Ya don't hear pointers doing that do you? They are just jealous.

I LOVE the picture of Lizzie and Dogge! I think a caption contest is in order!!!
Dogge:"OMG, there she goes again, she is such a drama queen...she is so silly, but I still love her!"
OR
Dogge: "If she thinks this is going to make me give her my toy, she is sorely mistaken!"
OR
Dogge: :"For heavens sake Lizzie, where is your dignity? You Doodles will do anything for a laugh!"

Any of the captions would be appropriate. Dogge is certainly the dowager queen & Lizzie is the jester - no doubt about it!

I've mentioned elsewhere the only problem we have is toy ownership & that pic is a great example. Dogge was hogging the hedgehog & Liz was doing everything in her power to charm it out of her. It never works LOLOL What I dont understand is how Dogge can withstand the doodlecharm?
