OMG Lauren, I never saw that. That's a riot!! I was laughing right along with you

Dexter talks to me when he wants to go out for a potty run, or when his tennis ball rolls under something and he can't get to it. He looks me right in the eye, and says "rf" very quietly. If I play dumb he keeps on repeating himself....."rf"...

When I get it right (i.e. "Do you have to go potty Dex?"), he lunges his head toward me and starts wagging his tail....as if to say "YES! It took you long enough though!!"

Remy was sleeping until I played your video. He got up and looked at me and then all around. I picked him up to let him see the computer and he was doing those cute little head tilts.

He doesn't talk much yet but when he is in his crate when he doesn't want to be, like when going to the vets, I swear he is cursing at me.

hehe...Kirby talks to me...I wish it were more like Lynn's Dexter's "rfff"...his is a high pitched squeal "I have to go now!!!" coupled with some pawing at me. We are working to teach him a more appropriate way to communicate...maybe we need potty bells.

I love the YouTube video, I was craking up. He definitely had something bugging him.

It is so funny the way they try to communicate. Jaxy talks for the same reasons...sometime I feel like he is very demanding and he really make me laugh. It's like he is tell me. "I want that NOW mom, I'm not kidding around!"

Nicky talks to me when he (1) wants his Kong stuffed and (2) when a toy is stuck under something and he can't get it. He looks at me with those bright eyes and just assumes I can understand what he's saying. He also does a little dance when he talks!

Max is such a talker,I swear hes sarcastic in his grumbles and complaints.
He talks back, when you talk to him,he argues with you,he rambles on and on,its never ending.I swear my daughter and him talk just as much.Maybe hes learning from my 2 year old.
when hes frustrated he mumbles under his breathe.
i'm going to get this on video,it's too funny .words just don't do justice to his talking.

Sammy-Doodle isn't a talker at all.
But he is a physical attention getter... Always climbing on my lap and smacking his big paw against the keyboard or tapping my face with it if I'm not paying enough attention to him.

Sienna is grunter. It is the funniest thing ever...she sounds just like a pig! It is usually when she is very excited... coming out of her crate she greets me with these little piggy grunts......or if you have a very tasty treat in your hand and she thinks it is for her. These are short and happy grunts.

She also has a mad/frustrated grunt. I usually get this grunt around lunchtime when she can hear me talking from her crate and knows that it is about time for her to go for her walk. It is a very low and short grunt and sounds very human......very hard to describe...but it sounds a lot like she is saying "I'm getting impatient...". Similar to a frustrated sigh that kids give you when you tell them to do something they don't want to do....

Jaxy's "voice" reminds me of a monkey, "oooh, aaah" and sometimes very human like. Every now and then I will be alone in the house with him and he'll make a noise and it will sound like a person is in the house and then I realize its him wanting something or trying to get my attention. OR arguing with the cats.
