Yes, I do!!

For Jonah, it's just a made up tune using different versions of his name.

For Miko, it's the Peter Gabriel song Biko, with changed lyrics.

For Rumor, it's to the tune of the Burt Ives song "Silver and Gold", changed to Rumory Boy.

Yes, I am certifiably crazy!!

haha...yeah I totally sing to them. It's never any real song - just something silly I make up (normally with their names in it). Kirby gets so excited when you say his name (it's cute - his tail will start wagging) so it's even better when it's to a song :)

When we walk I have my mp3 player plugged into my ears so Charlie is used to me singing all kinds of stuff to him. ;)

I don't sing any special songs to him at home though. I like to talk in different voices to watch his reaction. :p

I sing in the car with her - hoping to teach her to howl along with me, since that is probably what it sounds like to her!

Or maybe we can teach her to cover her ears with her paws...!

certifiably tone deaf here

I don't, but my now teenage son has always affected an operatic voice when singing. He would belt out on boy scout hikes and have everyone in stitches that this voice was coming out of this little kid. About a week ago, he crawled in Cali's crate with her and was singing to her with his operatic voice. It was pretty funny as she lay there, totally resigned but with a look of "Mom, how much longer"?

I sing to Jack when I take him to doggy daycare which he absolutely loves (the daycare, not my singing! ). The name of it is "Happy Tails" so I sing the following to the tune of "Happy Trails to you"

Happy Tails to you, You get to see your furry friends!
Happy Tails to you, You'll be wagging end to end!
Who cares about the clouds when you're together?
You'll get to run around the place together
Happy Tails to you and see your furry friends!

No, but when I practice piano Lucy lays down right beside me and seems to enjoy the music.

LOL.....YES! I sing to all my dogs.
I make up my own lyrics for each of them according to their personalities.
I sang to my Springer SO MUCH and he loved it!!

In fact! Listen to this!
Have you seen the JELLO commercial where they sing "Wiggle, wiggle"....one has a girl dancing on a table at a board meeting and another a kid dancing with a costumed black guernsey cow!!

OMG!! My dad and my stepson BOTH told me that JELLO stole my song!! I sang that to my Springer because he was a wiggler........wiggled his butt and looked like a bee...............lol
It's almost EXACT..............and I started that 10 years ago! I want my rights with JELLO...........hahaha! Must've heard me!!

Anyway, I need to create new ones for Bogart....I feel bad when I still sing my Springer's songs to him!
