Boy oh boy, moving is going to be fun (not!!). Okay, it's never fun. But this time should be extra interesting. Today Kevin started getting out boxes and packing up stuff. Immediately, Dexter decided he hated the sound of the tape dispenser, and the boxes were making creeky noises at him. He crawled completely into my lap, crying like a baby, and would not budge until the boxes were out of the apartment and into the car. (I have to say I didn't mind having an excuse to sit on the couch while Kevin did all the work, but I'm not sure that's gonna fly throughout the whole move.)

I thought leaving him with a couple boxes to sniff and explore while I ignored the situation would diffuse it, but no go.

I guess it'll be crate time for baby on and off for the next couple weeks. I hate to do it, but I can't work with 60 lbs. of doodle in my lap!
