Denver went for his first quiet walk after his injury
but unfortunately it was too much and the wound re-opened.
Back to the vet, who did advise that he was ready to try to walk again.
Anyway...........

The problem is that it is a puncture to the webbing and not a slice
so stitches cannot be put in. The solution is to keep Denver off of his
foot as much as possible for the next 4-5 days. Anyone wanna come over and help me keep a 100 lb Doodle off his foot??????????

On the bright side it is Thanksgiving here so he will be
on the couch with his blanky and bear and some hand fed turkey.

Oh Sue, you will really have your hands full. Sorry to hear that he reopened his wound. Good thing it is Thanksgiving, you are home with him plus the turkey you are going to give him has tryptophan in it and that will make him sleepy

Dear Denver,

I hope you can go for a walk soon. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't go for my walks!! And my afternoon play times, and my evening play times...

Just work on those ears of your new bear. They need to come off you know.

Enjoy your turkey!

Your friend, Cinnamon

Awww, so hard watching our babies hurt. Does Denver have a bandage on or are they openair healing it?
I'm sure it is taking longer to heal than either of you care for

The bandage is off now to heal.
Mostly because he is determined to take it off
So vet agrees to open air healing which I think is better anyway.

Hang in there Sue! :D I can only imagine how frustrating it must be to have a bundle of energy on your hands that can't run down its batteries, so to speak. That's amazing that the mean cat is being nice. Animals are awesome. Cali and I are sending calming thoughts to you and Denver. :D

Thanks Meg
I think that all animals feel when another one is hurt.
I will take my cue from her and when she starts smacking him
again I will tell my vet that he is probably healed
bahahahahhaha!!!!!!!!!
