My "new" dog (BF's 4 yr old lab) has a licking problem. He loves to give kisses. I can just be sitting on the couch and he will walk by lick and then keep on going. I can't lay on the edge of the couch anymore without getting a cruise by lick in the face all the time. I love puppy kisses when I know they are coming but when you don't know they are coming it's not as fun. Plus this will happen at least 20 x's during the evening.

Any suggestions on how to stop this. We tried all the stop chewing deterrants...bitter apple spray, hot sauce, bitter yuck. Tucker kust licks his chops and comes back for more!

Hmmmm... Sam LOVES kisses as well.
We say "Thank You" when we like them and give a stern "Ok Sam" when we are done.
We like kisses a lot though...

I taught Peanut KISS KISS on side of cheek

meaning IF she SAT still FIRST
i'd say KISS KISS and put the side of my face near her. So no more facewashes constantly hahhahaaaa
and she then stopped licking as much and progressed to waiting for us to say KISS KISS , would sit right down and be so calm then too waiting to give us a kiss
