I think he is very glad to be home. I may be reading him wrong but I think he finds it a bit stressful - not necessarily in a bad way. I just don't think he relaxes for a minute while he's there.
I wanted him to visit occasionally so if we had to leave him there in an emergency or for an overnight, he would be used to the routine and have a comfort level. He's probably more comfortable than I am. :?
I'm sure it's good to get him used to it and the socialization is great, he looked like he was having fun when I checked in on him a few times this afternoon
Tanner used to play hard all day in the beginning and he was always exhausted. Now they say that when he wants to be left alone, he will go sleep in one of the dog houses. I think the novelty wears off.
I agree with Annie. When we don't bring Dex/Kirby to the dog park as often, they go nuts when we get there. In the summer when we go many times a week, they are happy, but it's less of excitement for them.
I am still nervous leaving ours there a week. They were fine for 2 days, so I'm sure it'll be fine. I just worry about them!!
