I think it's that time again! The weather is changing (finally) and I would like to get a date penciled in for the next doodle romp. I think this one will have at least double the doodles the last romp had!! Soooo, I was thinking November 5th for the 2nd Phoenix Doodle Romp. If you live in the area (or even if you don't live in the area but would like to come) let me know how this date works for you. I liked Washington Park and thought we'd just gather there again. Any input would be appreciated.
Just a reminder about the upcoming doodle romp. We will be gathering next Sunday (just a week from today - Nov. 5th) at Washington Park in Phoenix. The romp will begin at 1pm. We should have at least 15 doods in attendance so remember to bring your cameras!! I would also recommend bringing some folding chairs as the park has just a few. For those who did not attend the last romp ( and for those of you who may need their memories refreshed ) here is some info about the park:
21st Avenue north of Maryland (between Bethany Home and Glendale roads). Phone (602) 262-6971. The park is open from approximately 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
The park features:
2.65 acres, grass surface
Six-foot-high perimeter fencing and two double-gated entrances
a water fountain and two watering stations for dogs
Accessible to people with disabilities
benches
mutt mitt dispensers and garbage cans for dog waste.
separate areas, with independent entrances, for large and small dogs
If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me. I can't wait to see everyone and everydog at the park next weekend!!
Thanks for coming Harold, Lisa and Gracey too! It was so great to get to talk to you a little bit. I hope you guys ( especially Gracey) had a good time. She's adorable! I think we'll give it another go after the holidays.
