Hi Sherry...I answered the other post...quite a bit of info...please contact me (click on the PM button below to send a private message) if I can help you...
Male Labradooldle in MD

I have a 1st generation Male here in MD. He is 8 year old and has never been bred. His dad was a champion poodle and his mom a lab, he is silver which is supposed to be rare. His disposition is the best I have ever seen in a dog, very loyal, obedient never leaves your side. If you are interested I can email you some pics.
Hi Moeman! Welcome!
Sounds like you have a lovely dog!
Has he been tested for any genetic diseases?
I have a Poodle stud and they have to go through the same (expensive) tests as the female dogs do because their genetic makeup is very important...as well as their temperament.
But, we are always looking for "new bloodlines" and I am sure that if he passes his testing, you can find a market for him.
I am glad you posted, I hope that you stick around and get acquainted!

Hey Jac,

Not sure what kind of test you are talking about, I am freinds with the breeder and can trace his lineage. I had no intentions on breeding him before but now that he is getting up in age I would like to have another pup that might have some of his qualities. If Juleesmom wants the test then I will get them. [/img]
We are in Rhode Island and have a beautiful two year old silver AKC registered standard poodle (Kozmo). Check out our website for pics. He is proven and tested. We also have a few male F1B's Cream, and brindle. Drop us and email. :D
Hi Sherry, the first thing you must do is make sure you bought breeding rights from the breeder when you bought your pup. Then do the necessary health testing. Please contact Jac, she will help you with any decisions you need to make. You will get sound advise from Jac.
Hi Sherry, in dealing with my new puppies I dont' have much time to respond, but don't want to ignore your question...please send a PM to me and I'll be sure to get back with you!
In the meantime, check out the archives and possibly do a search for testing and you will most likely find lots of info there...
My web page has a health testing section too...wish I had more time for a personal response right now. Sorry
www.backporchlabradoodles.com look at the "about us" part and find the blue highlighted "health testing".
