Hi Everyone!

I know that people have posted books to read about raising puppies on here, but I'm in the middle of finals week/ packing up my life and putting it in a storage unit for two months, and I'm running out of time to browse this forum for the name of those books. I'm about to go on a tour of Southern California, and then on an 8 hr plane flight back home to RI, and I'd like some reading material!

So if anyone has any helpful books that I should pick up and read, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Kristen, I am not really a doodle expert for my puppy will not arrive until July 5th but the books that I have read so far are:

My Smart Puppy by Brian Kilcommons and Sarah Wilson
The Art of Raising a Puppy by The Monks at New Skete
The Dog Listener by Jan Fennell
Cesar's Way by Cesar Millan (haven't finished yet)

I have found them all to be very informative.

I read this book Goldendoodle from PetSmart. It is very informational aboutthe breed itself. Not the best book on training but good for the history of the Goldendoodle.

WoW, somehow I missed all four of your responses to this topic. I'm glad I tried to look again! I've got both the Labradoodle and Goldendoodle books. Very pretty books! I'll check out those other books, as well! Thanks!
