YAY! He's done! The tech just went back to check on him when I called and said he was doing well and wagging his tail!

In talking to the vet, I said I might want to keep him over an extra night. He said...why? Don't do that! I said that keeping him quiet for 7-10 days is going to be difficult because he & I are so active.
He said that he can return to somewhat normal activity. I said.....okay so a small walk Frday?.........he said.........a walk TOMORROW!!
I said, but he'll be jumping on beds etc.........he said....well that can't be helped!.....don't worry.

Now this vet is one of the top ones here and people travel long distances to come to this place.
He said it would be different if he was a female but this isn't anywhere near as bad.
I'll bring him home late tomorrow and still be careful. But, it doesn't look like it will be the ordeal all the other vets said it would be.

I'm insane ......I know.

I am glad Bogie is ok. Good luck keeping him quiet. When Maya was spay I had no chance. She was using the couch as a springboard the same night she had surgery!!! I am sure you will do a better job of keeping him quiet than I did!!!

GOOD JOB BOGIE!!!

I think it is more traumatizing on us.

I'll have a cocktail tonight just to toast Bogie and Bogie's mom for getting through the traumatizing day.

Just got home from a nice dinner and only a couple glasses of Pinot Noir. I'm tired..........My last call to the vet was at 8PM at Bogart is wagging his tail and walking around. Not licking.........not until he gets home hahahha!
I'll wait until tomorrow to see if he's being BOGART and chewing at his stitches. f he's going to be a good doodle.......I'll have him here tomorrow by 4PM.
I DO miss him!
