I would like to know more about Doodle bath time. Tater did really good for his 1st bath. Lastnight he didnt do so well, I had to get in the tub with him just to keep him in there. (He kept tring to jump out) He loves water so I dont get it?
I washed him with puppy soap and his hair felt not so soft so I used some on my condtioner on him and rinsed it boy did that make a the diffrence! He was soft and fluffy.
Im wondering what you all use?
Oh and do your doodle go Nutz after they get dried off. Tater was a mad man running all over the house and rubbing himself on everything he could find. It was funny!

Hi there
Hahahahahh my doodle runs around my bedroom and
jumps all over the bed after a bath as well.
I use an oatmeal shampoo for Denver and it has a built in conditioner.
Lots of people here will have advice as to what brand as the one I use
is a generic Canadian brand.
Good luck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, Cali tears through the house after a bath too.

I use a shampoo from the vet that is good for dry skin (which hopefully will be a thing of the past now that we've switched to Canidae!)

I wrote a post about BEST SHOT, and it got eaten in cyberspace.

This time I think I will write about 2 other things.....does everyone have a favorite website/supplier where they get stuff online for a good price AND a minimum of shipping costs?

Secondly.....how do you spread the shampoo on your Doodle?

I am embarrassed to say (and I'm not blonde! ) how many HUNDREDS of baths I gave before figuring out that if I DILUTE the shampoo....most of them are intended to be diluted anyway....but if you pour the soapy water it covers more area and you don't have to move a dollop of thick shampoo from the shoulders to the tail!

Is it just me coming late to the party on this method? or does this tip help anyone else? :D

I love Best Shot. The conditioner is fabulous. It will not feel all silky and smooth when you apply it, BUT it makes the coat feel fabulous when you dry the dog.
I like www.dog.com. They are reliable and fast with free shipping for orders over $49.

good info, Linda!
And I was going to go on a tangent about good supply websites with LOW shipping, too! I like www.dog.com from what I've seen but I haven't actually ordered from them yet....I think I heard about them from you, actually!

www.omahavaccine.com is the same as www.petsuppliesdelivered.com and they also have FREE shipping on $50 orders....PLUS they are usually the lowest price I find, when I'm ordering several things. NOBODY has ever beat them on Greenies, in my experience, PLUS I don't know if they charge an extra freight, even on a gallon of shampoo!
