This forum was a life saver for me when Spike was a baby, he is 12 years old now and although still running after his beloved ball and eating well, I can see his age more each day. He has a lot of Lipomas and coughs on and off (had xray and labs last year and was given antibiotics for a chest infection) if it continues I will take him back to the vet...but generally he still has good energy, a good appetite most days, is playful but sleeps more as he has aged.
I have him on a chew each day for seniors (Zesty Paws) and he has a good varied diet including home cooked beef, salmon and chicken.
Anyone else have a senior who has been on this forum since puppyhood?
It would be good to catch up with your doodles!
