I'll be innundating you all with pics soon. It's been SUCH a full day for both the dogs and I that I just didn't get more than that taken yet.
I figured Canada needed a break from people to relax with them even though she was very sweet natured and tolerant of our monkeying around with her pups so far. When I discovered the 3rd black pup, my granddaughter was in the pen with me and asked to hold a black one... so I reached in and picked up one and was shocked to find it was still wet and slimey. I didn't think to look and check if it was one of the 2 dry ones born earlier... until I got a handful of wet puppy that wasn't even fully cleaned off yet.

So at that point I told myself to just back off, give Canada some space and have patience. lol
No way should I have grabbed a pup right out from under her nose! A less good natured dog would have had me drawing back a stub at that point.
I can't praise her enough for how she's been today. Considering we've had her just 2 months, she's been a wonder dog. I think I could almost give a guarantee that the pups are going to have great temperments when I look at how lucky I've been with both parents. I'm counting my lucky stars!
