We got Cinnamon after almost a year without a dog. We had lost our 12 yr old cocker to heart failure. When we decided to get another dog, my hubby had heard of LD's and thought they would be a great dog for me to travel with. I really was against a new puppy because of that reason. Buddy was a pain to travel with, he would get so nervous and I would have to stop and get him calmed. Not an easy task when you are not home. Cinnamon takes everything in stride, charming everyone in her path. When I called our vet to tell her I was bringing in a puppy and that she was a doodle, she was thrilled because she had never seen one before.
When we take her to Petsmart, they all want to know what kind of dog she is. Some of the regulars know her on site, but the new people always ask. And they always remark on how well behaved she is (I know, it amazes me too!). Cin knows when she has an audience! She is 14 months now, and I can take her just about everywhere and she will behave. Now to get her to be that good at home!
