Hi Everyone,
After lurking here for the past few weeks, I've decided to bite the bullet and introduce myself! My husband and I made the 650 mile roundtrip to see Nancy at Doodlesville in WV and purchase our new pup Dekker. We bought Dekker two weeks ago and he is now is a twelve week old Multi, (F3 I'm thinking) labradoodle, but honestly at this point I'm so tired I'm not even sure.

Anyway here are some pics...

Welcome to the forum Pip & Rich, Dougie, Rose, Dekker the Doodle and Ruby the red cat!!!! Whew! (I copied and pasted...hahaha) Dekker sure is a cutie! OMG, that first picture reminds me of the Tazmanian Devil!!!!! But I'm sure your sweet little baby won't be like that!!!! Altho when he gets to the 'teen' stage (10 months or so) you'll think he IS the Tazmanian Devil!!! hahahaha....have lots of fun here, and post lots of pictures as Dekker grows....we have to see Ruby too!!!!

Thank you guys for your warm welcome. Dekker is a smarty pants, doing very well with his potty training and also with very basic commands, sit come etc.. He definitely knows where the treat bag is and sits like an angel underneath it after performing his "Business" outside! He's really a placid boy, except when he attempts to nip at the kids (Rosie's 2 and Doug is 4) but I'm trying not to give him the chance. Took him for his 12 week old shots and he's gained 3 lbs since he arrived. He started off at 12.5 and is now 15.5.
Looking forward to being in the Doodle gang!!

Pip

Dekker does seem to use his paws alot,

Keep the photos coming, you are dealing with puppy pic addicts

I 'm not sure about that one!

Pip & Rich, Dougie, Rose, Dekker the Doodle and Ruby the red cat. A warm welcome to the whole family.
Dekker is a cutie and your photos brought back a rush of memories of Ebbe not too many months ago and then you wrote the phrase of new puppy owners everywhere:

but honestly at this point I'm so tired I'm not even sure.
You are not alone! And quite smart for joining NOW at super puppy stage ... We are so glad you're here ....

PS: ...and with two little ones ... WOW!

Welcome to the entire gang. Dekker is a good looking pup. Have fun, I am sure you will. Tested at times..maybe, but at the end of the day a hug and a smile make all well worth it.

Ha  Ha  Ha  Ha  Ha

Annmarie ... you are soooooo funny! Yes, I recognize those little
needle teeth! They turn into full size doodle teeth in what seems
to be the blink of an eye. And with the added height they tend
to target rather sensitive areas of one's anatomy! OUCH!

But we don't want any new doodle owners to be worried about
future shenanigans, do we? No, at this very moment jeans, jammies,
slacks, socks, shoe strings and anything within needle teeth range
are falling victim to those teeth of doom. Right now somewhere,
someone is trying to walk into another room with a small doodle
firmly attached to their ankle.

Let's let those folks worry about the present .... 'cause the future's
going to get bigger, and faster, and sneakier .... and cuter, and
sillier, and yes -- more lovable! :D  :D
