Was talking to Annmarie and told her Annabelle got a new toy last nite, belated xmas gift from a friend.

Annmarie wanted pics

She got a new Hedgehog to match her hair color, black and silver.

Well, it lasted about 2 hrs and is now a De-stuffed hedgehog - this is her 4th hedgehog and none of them have made it past 2 days, dont' know what it is about that particular toy that she must destuff

Great pictures....as usual. don't know what it is about the hedgehogs. Jonah would have the squeaker out in 2 seconds, stuffing all out in 5 seconds......but would keep the carcass for months!! :wink:

Charlie has a new hedgehog and its still in one piece. The new one is large and has at least two different squeaker sounds - a deep duck type one and a high squeaky one. It's his favorite new toy but he shows no interest in destuffing it. Still, I better keep my eye on it! :lol:

Maybe Annabelle didn't like it because it wouldn't stay in line with the others?

I love photos of annabelle I am always amazed how her toys are in such good condition. A stuffed toy would last 1 minute in our house.

Cinnamon has 2 hedgehogs, one I took the nonworking innards out of and replaced it with a frog sound box from a "dead" frog. So we have a hedgeFROG and a hedgehog. Both she hasn't torn up. She put a dent in them, missing arms & legs, but they are still for the most part intact. Both were old toys from our old Cocker. She will tear up the new toys till there's nothing left, but the old ones are still around.

I've been so lucky with the destuffing so far. Moses has the same beloved toys now that he got 14 months ago and all are intact.

It must be tha Lab in them, 'cause I know Canada can devour a bone or chew in record time.

Thanks - I would love to know why some toys last a long time and others 5 minutes - AB has 2 toys that belonged to my labs when they were puppies 14 years ago, they have been played with by 2 labs full time, Hankiepoo, AB and all her other guests and are still in one piece, yet bring in a stuffed hedgehog and it's history
