I find the story very sad in that the owner did not
pay the $2000.00. I think that the majority of people here
would have found the money.

It is awesome that he survived, but that part of the story deeply
disturbs me, and sometimes maybe a vet can just do and worry about money later

It also bothered me alot that she then treated the doodle herself with a remedy better suited for horses.
Also ... after the snake was removed, don't you think you would have check the dog for injuries?
God bless that she rescued Phillip. I'm hoping that many pertinent details are missing from the story.
It seemed too simplistic the way it was written.

You know Sue, that part of the story bothered me too. I can't imagine just leaving it to chance that Phillip may survive.
