Im not sure if im doing this right , I just joined. My Labradoodle Daisy is 3 years old. All of a sudden she has become very possesive , maybe just very protective of her family. We will be walking her and she will start growling at everyone that goes by. This is really not like her at all. Shes really great with our other family dog, my grandkids. I dont get why she is starting to growl at people she doesnt know.

Try the Cesar method of you walking outside first. If she goes first she feels she has to protect you but if you go out the door with her behind you she should be less protective. It worked for my puppy much to my amazement so I'm a true Cesar Milan believer! Same with the leash if she is pulling you get either a gentle leader or make your own by using a slip leash. After it goes over the head make a figure eight and out over nose and she will stop pulling and walk beside you. Its wild to see the difference but I'm in my 60's and having her pull me wasn't an option so I had to get it under control fast, this works!!!
