After a really rough start, Tucker and Sandy have become the best of friends. Though poor Tucker usually wants to crash when we come inside and Sandy won't leave him alone, even though I can see that Sandy needs to crash as well. I finally have them calmed down and Sandy is sleeping on my feet and Tucker is hiding behind me. Poor thing, LOL

I can't believe he is 14 weeks already. Time sure is flying by! It seems like just yesterday I had that nightmare at the airport, but it has really been SIX weeks! Just two more weeks until I can start walking with him! I think he might already be blowing his puppy coat - he is definitely shedding (darnit) but his undercoat is super thick and curly, and its starting to pop out more than his shaggy coat. He looks curlier and curlier every day. Still curious as to what he's going to look like a bit older!

I promise to get the pictures of Annie & Sandy up soon - they came out as good as I could expect them to with a wiggly puppy. We might try again tonight since Sandy will be all worn out from playing with Tucker all day.

Thanks for looking :)

Rocky the cat here - Tucker, I feel your pain man. Those doodle pups have two speeds, rocket and snore. Dexter picks on me non-stop. The cool thing is, mom tells him 90 times a day to knock it off, but 50% of the time I started it bwahahahaha! One switch of my tail and it's on! My brother Muffin is a fluffy boy and he grouches and moans and hides by mom. But I'm tough, I can handle a doodle most of the time. It's even kinda fun.

Get your bluff in on mom early, my friend, cause a 14 week old doodle has only just begun!

I LOVE the last photo Kristin.....they're both laying there so nicely.

I totally can't believe it's 14 weeks either....and that we've had them 6 weeks. It just shows how time drags when you're waiting for something, and then flies after the event takes place....

Oh you want to hear what the devil did?

We went to my mother's house to go swimming on Monday - I took him with us for the first time and made the mistake of asking one of the kids to hold his leash (the regular 6ft kind) while I took the solar cover off the pool.

Of course what happens? She drops it and Sandy takes off like a bat out of hell once he realized his "freedom" and jumps out on top of the SOFT AND FLEXABLE pool cover! He immediately started sinking (still on the edge of it) and he darted out in the middle of the pool and froze... Then he made a smart descision and started poodle trotting back across the pool (think walking on a gigantic waterbed) and leaps back to the pavement.

OMG once my heart stopped pounding I laughed and laughed. It was a sight to see my 16lb dog walking on water. I just kept thinking thank GOD he was still attached to the leash! If it had come down to it I knew I'd be able to get my hands on it.

Now I just wish I had it on video - I could have made a fortune. And you can bet he hasn't made that mistake again!

You know, it was more scary after the fact... but I wasn't so much worried about him as I was about the million dollar, custom cut solar cover for the pool. It would have taken 2 seconds to jump in and push the cover to the side to get to him or his leash. But damn my heart still stopped! I checked every inch of the cover praying he didn't rip it and trying to figure out how I was going to pay for a new one before my dad came home for the summer!

Check this out from today... And yes, Rhiannon's hair is ALWAYS in her face. We are growing out her bangs... its a girl thing ;) And check out the hand on the side of Sandy's face - the girls were cracking me up trying to hold him still!

This is the picture I'm going to have printed - one for each girl, and one for mom of course :)

I still love the other one best because of Sandy practically being strangled to get him to stay still for more than a second or two. That is definitely one for the scrapbook I think ;)
